Jake Yatso
Jake Yatso is currently a research assistant and Masters student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Prior to working on his Masters Degree, Jacob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UW-Madison, making the Dean's Honor List in his last three semesters of study. His current research involves modeling synchrophasor technology on the western power grid, looking to better pinpoint disturbances and reduce blackouts. Jacob has worked for multiple utilities, being exposed to the generation, transmission, and distribution sides of the power grid.
