Prajwal Bhagwat is working towards the Ph.D. degree with an interest in modeling and programming of control logic needed in power delivery with increasing penetration of renewable and distributed energy resources. He is investigating grid-forming inverter technology which deals with harnessing renewable energy and dispatching on to grid with optimal efficiency. His current research focus is on developing control tools which solves the problem of inverter over-current phenomenon and seamless recovery to steady state operating point during and after contingencies respectively.
Project
Reliable fault ride-through and protection of converter-dominated power systems under unbalanced conditions.
